Jacqui Bonwell has been teaching Yoga since 2005. She is the Director of the Sacred Seeds Yoga School (RYS-200, RYS-300) through Yoga Alliance. She is an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher at a 500hr level. She began studying Yin under the guidance of Sagel Urlacher and regularly incorporates the Yin philosophy and practice into her teacher trainings. Jacqui is a whole lot of YANG and VERY grateful to have found YIN & Restorative Yoga practices for some kind of balance. I work hard to help others be on their own side and to see themselves as worthy of investment. That this mentality will help not only you, but can be of service to all.
That when you go in the opposite direction of busy (which most of us are in the mind) you build new neural growth. An adult is a child who stops growing and we can still grow!!
My classes are rooted deeply in yogic philosophy and I aim to create relaxing immersive experiences available to all levels and abilities
Yoga is a deeply spiritual practice that just so happens to have incredible physical, mental and emotional gains. I love how available yin is even, and especially during challenging times or when dealing with injuries. It's quiet, introspective nature.

In our community of healers, you will have access to meditation courses, Yin Yoga, trauma-sensitive yoga and the revolutionary practice known as Trauma Releasing Exercise sessions (TRE). I love how all forms of yoga and meditation have the ability to educate us through movement and breath, calm, strengthen, and allow healing in the body. I love educating my students about their bodies and providing techniques to heighten awareness, release tension, help with stress and anxiety, encourage self-care and ultimately give them a better quality of life.

Yin yoga and guided meditation provide a necessary platform for quiet transformation to occur. My goal is to lead people through an experience into their own bodies, to tap into what they are actually feeling. The end result is a greater appreciation of the present moment and the beauty and possibility it holds.

I love teaching slow forms of yoga and hope that my teachings can translate easily into daily life.
I love the meditative quality of Yin Yoga. Sometimes sitting still in Meditation can be hard for people, Yin Yoga slows you down so that it ends up being a meditation in slow motion. Yoga Nidra also is a unique way to access this meditative state.
