My own yoga journey began in 2009. To look after my own health and manage stress, I got back into cycling, a sport I enjoyed earlier in my life. When I first tried a little yoga, I thought it was just going to be an occasional "stretching" activity to help improve my cycling performance...but I quickly developed a passion for the philosophy and broader practices of yoga! After several years of experiencing the benefits of a regular yoga practice, I decided I wanted to share the power of these practices with others, and embarked on my first training program. I continue to look for new things to learn, experience, and offer to others. If you are looking for a sweaty, athletic yoga practice...I'm probably not your guy. If you're interested in exploring functional health and holistic mind-body wellness while having a little fun along the way, you'll probably dig my vibe! In my teaching, I strive to blend humor and philosophy to help everyone experience the benefits of yoga practice in a fun, empowering, and safe environment.

Yacep./E-500 Ryt Certified with Yoga Aliance/I was drawn to yin for its simplicity. It's challenge to pause and allow yourself to become an explorer of your own internal as well as external landscape. I am also a reiki level 2 practitioner and an end of life doula. I have been teaching yoga for over ten years in my community. I love to travel anywhere and anyplace time allows. I teach from my heart. My sequences and theme generally reflect something that I am struggling or experiencing. I love when a new student becomes hooked on the benefits of a yin practice. That aha moment when the practices finds its way into the mind body and soul.
The opportunity to become still and aware.

I offer trauma-sensitive yin yoga, and often mix yin with gentle qigong-inspired movements and myofascial release techniques.
Yin yoga to me is a practice of self-enquiry. An opportunity to slow down, to rest in stillness, and to learn about our own bodies, minds and hearts. Social Media: WeChat (ID Susanna25) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7E4wOFJGQIacdR5s7mJRUA
